Ingredients

  • 1 sheet ready-made puff pastry
  • 8–10 fresh figs, sliced
  • 150g ricotta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons chopped pistachios

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry onto a lined baking tray.
  3. Score a 1-inch border around the pastry edge without cutting through.
  4. Spread the ricotta evenly inside the border.
  5. Arrange the sliced figs over the ricotta layer.
  6. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of honey.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes until the pastry is golden and crisp.
  8. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly.
  9. Drizzle with the remaining honey.
